but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.
in a sense we have come to our nations capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.” but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.
so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of gods children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negros legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.
those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.
we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

下面我小结一下，邓丹老师、胡丹老师、谢群笑三位老师的复习计划都写得比较详细，都把本学期要复习的内容按单元一一列举出来，邓老师和谢群笑两位老师还把复习的知识重难点列举出来，可见，两位老师对教材的熟悉度，邓老师的复习措施主要体现在四个方面：分析学生学习现状、科学梳理教材、精心设计练习、及时补差。
胡的复习措施是根据题目、知识和技能进行复习。
谢老师的复习措施是帮助学生通过单词、短语、句子，以听、说、读、写为主要复习方式。
然后，我对如何复习提出了自己的看法。例如，复习课应遵循三个原则：自主性、针对性和系统性；而发挥学生自主性的这一点上，我在六年级学生当中做了第一次尝试，第一次尝试让他们在复习初级阶段根据我给的资料及主题的安排分组做复****，并由他们去上课，学生上的课效果虽然不是很完美，还是有些知识点是需要我去补充的，但我尝试了把复习课堂还给了学生，发挥了他们的自主性。
然后把我这一个月或一个半月的所做所想真实地写在我的复习计划中，因为六年级英语考的是三到六年级所学过的所有的英语知识，考试范围大，所以复习的难度也就大，所以我的计划并没有像科组三位老师那样把复习内容列举到某一个单元某一个知识点，我注重的是在复习过程中帮助学生把所有知识进行梳理、总结。
最后，我们邓丹老师对周五要上的研讨课教案进行了学习，并进行了交流。
在整个交流过程中，老师们热烈地进行交流，效果不错，我觉得我们科组虽然人少，但力量一点也不弱，我相信我们科组老师一定会全力以赴，做到最好，以上是我们昨天科组活动的情况。

俗话说，好的开端是成功的一半。今天我们聚在一起，是为了相互交流一下学生在校及在家的情况，以便老师能够及时调整工作、提高教育教学质量，家长能够更好教育自己的子女做人与成材。总之我们的目标是一致的，那就是：“一切为了孩子，为了孩子的一切1
一、我先说说学生情况，我把学生分成三类：
一类同学，学习习惯相当好，学习积极主动，上课专心听讲，作业专注、书写认真，所以作业完成的速度快，正确率高，回答问题思路清晰。第二类学生是自觉性相对差一点，作业能及时完成，上课偶尔注意力不集中，经常会出现这样或那样的小毛玻第三类学生是学习习惯差，作业能主动完成，但是书写潦潦草草，错题一大堆。讲评过的题，既不更正，也不做相应的笔记。
二、我认为家长在子女的学习管理上也有很大差异，大致也分为三类：
一类家长是把时间和精力大部分都用在孩子身上，每天都过问孩子的学习情况，而且能亲自检查，对孩子的要求很严格，孩子在学习上的每次浮动都牵动家长的心，都能引起家长足够的重视。
第二类家长也是占大多数的家长，是每天也都过问孩子的作业情况。如“作业做完了吗?单词背了吗?”这类家长也只是停留在问的层面上，偶尔能看看孩子的作业情况。得到孩子的回答也大多是“完成了。”孩子到底完成的质量怎么样，家长心里没数。
第三类家长是不懂英语的。而且上班忙，下班太晚，没时间过问的孩子的学习情况。我想跟家长们重点说说用实际行动，真心关心孩子的学习。
平时多了解孩子的作业和测验情况，重要的是要把作业和测验打开亲自看一看,不能一问了之。我也知道，我们班大部分家长都非常的认真负责。要知道，细心正是一种很重要的良好学习品质，一味地以一种完成任务的态度对待学习也是有害无益的。所以平时做作业时，作为家长一旦发现作业的质量不高，一定要让他重新做好。在家这么一抓，学校再来一抓，他没有任何可以放松的机会，良好的品质就容易养成。并且还能有效地杜绝抄袭。
我对学生学习英语的要求有：
1、每天坚持读英语、听英语磁带。
2、坚持背好每个单元所学的英语单词。
3、坚持背诵每个单元的重点课文。
4、掌握好这个学期所学的时态。
5、按要求完成英语作业，有错误的地方要及时更正作业中的错误。每天的作业都需要家长签名。
6、上课讲评练习题或试卷的时候，有错误的地方要及时更正，课后要多复习，这样就可以有效避免再犯同样的错误，试卷需要家长签字。
7、有时间多找一些短文来阅读，提高自己的阅读理解能力。
8、找一些作文范文来读，每个单元的作文要认真去写，每天可以写几句日记，借此提高自己的写作能力。
让我感到特别欣慰的是，学生们通过自己的努力，此次考试成绩比月考进步了不少，进步最大是赖雯同学，从月考的21分进步到期中考试的46分。尽管此次考试赖雯同学并没有考及格，但她的努力和进步却是我们有目共睹的。家长朋友在关心你的孩子考到多少分数的同时，也请你们对比一下孩子的月考成绩。重要的不是看他(她)这次考到了多少分?而是要看他(她)比起以往的考试有没有进步?我相信通过我们大家的努力，所有的孩子都能在这后面的一段时间里，能有一个让人惊喜的进步。

december 8， 1941
to the congress of the united states：
yesterday， dec. 7， 1941 - a date which will live in infamy - the united states of america was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the empire of japan.
the united states was at peace with that nation and， at the solicitation of japan， was still in conversation with the government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the pacific.
indeed， one hour after japanese air squadrons had ***menced bombing in oahu， the japanese ambassador to the united states and his colleagues delivered to the secretary of state a formal reply to a recent american message. while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations， it contained no threat or hint of war or armed attack.
it will be recorded that the distance of hawaii from japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. during the intervening time， the japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the united states by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
the attack yesterday on the hawaiian islands has caused severe damage to american naval and military forces. very many american lives have been lost. in addition， american ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between san francisco and honolulu.
yesterday， the japanese government also launched an attack against malaya.
last night， japanese forces attacked hong kong.
last night， japanese forces attacked guam.
last night， japanese forces attacked the philippine islands.
last night， the japanese attacked wake island.
this morning， the japanese attacked midway island.
japan has， therefore， undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the pacific area. the facts of yesterday speak for themselves. the people of the united states have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.
as ***mander in chief of the army and navy， i have directed that all measures be taken for our defense.
always will we remember the character of the onslaught against us.
no matter how long it may take us to over***e this premeditated invasion， the american people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
